Season of change

It's a week of frantic packing. Hubby will be reporting to his "new" workplace at Petronas Refinery Plant in Malacca on 3rd March 2008. After a round of emotional farewells and dinners, it's time to move on. Looking back over the last sixteen years, he had gone a long way as a young and "green horn" engineer to a technical professional today. There is no denying that there were plenty of hard work, job-related stress and personal scarifices along the way.

With hubby away and only home once a month, there will be some adjustments to our routine. Ruth will definitely miss her dad very much as she was real close to him. Although hubby had been travelling quite often in past, this was the first time that we were separated due to his job relocation. But we'll make the best of it until Ruth's finishes her PMR in 2009. Hopefully, she will strive to excel academically and socially and prove to her dad that she's his best girl.
