Ruth got back all her term papers. As expected, she did not do well. She was really disappointed with her results and vowed to put in more effort the next round. At least, there is something positive from it. Problem is, she started her revision late and was cramming at the last minute. Teach her a good lesson, not to procastinate.
Hubby came back last Thursday to clear some papers and he also went back to Sibu for the "Ching Ming" or tomb sweeping festival. Time really flies and he flew back to Malacca this afternoon. Ruth and I will visit him for a week in Malacca during the coming June school holidays and Gawai break.
John and I will return back to Sibu this coming weekend for the Ching Ming festival. This event had been part and parcel of our yearly "excursion" to Sibu since dad pass on 15 years ago. Ruth had shown keen interest in joining us to clean and sweep her ancestor's tomb since the last two years. Although she never knew her maternal grandfather and paternal grandmother, she had been showing her filial piety by braving the hot sun, dust and smoke to work with us to clean and sweep the tombs.
