Phew! After a week of frantic revision, cramming and burning mid-night oils, Ruth's first semester exams were finally over. It's a big relief for all at home as she had been real tense and edgy, worried that she will not be able to complete her revision on time. Being in the "top class" can really be a stressful and challenging experience for her. She's looking forward to a week of snoozing late, watching TV and drawing her cartoons.
Studies aside, election fever is in the air again. With the polling date set on this coming Saturday, candidates from the respective parties are hot on the campaign trail. Accusing, bickering, wrangling and back-stabbing are the order of the day. Well, that's politics, anyway. Fortunately, it rubs on you once in five years or so.
It's a week since hubby left for his new posting in Malacca. He is slowly adjusting to his new work environment and colleagues. We are also adjusting to him being home once in awhile, although Ruth misses her dad.
