Marathon's on...

The marathon's on. Ruth just started the second round of her first semester exams today. It's going to last until next Friday, the last day of the school term. The last three weeks had seen several rounds of revision and late nights. Hopefully, she will do better this time.

Now for some updates. Mother's day celebration was really low keyed this year. Ruth bought a cake and made a "paper" carnation for me. We were invited to join a close family friend for lunch at the restaurant. There was a scrumptious spread of good food and camaraderie. Unfortunately, hubby could not make it back to Bintulu as he had to attend a meeting in KL.

John and mum planned to visit Bintulu next Saturday. So, there is no excuse for not celebrating, this, never mind, belated Mother's Day complete with dinner, cakes and flowers. Let's just have fun!
